Car Skids Into Drainage Ditch In Stafford

STAFFORD, CT — A car wound up in a drainage ditch in Stafford last week, state police said.

According to a crash report, a 2015 Audi A3 with a 23-year-old East Windsor man behind the wheel was headed west on Orcuttville Road on a left-hand downhill curve at 4:15 p.m.

The car slid off the right shoulder and landed in the drainage ditch, according to a crash report.

No injuries were reported.

The driver was issued a warning for traveling too fast for snow and freezing rain conditions, state police said.
