Deer Causes Truck To Hit Stone Wall In Stafford: Report
State police said a pickup truck was wrecked in Stafford after it driver tried to avoid a deer.

STAFFORD, CT — A deer caused a scary crash in Stafford last week, according to state police.
According to a crash report, at 8:23 p.m. on Nov. 5, a 39-year-old Stafford man driving a 2012 Ram 1500 pickup truck was headed east on Route 190 when a deer darted into the road from his right.
The man swerved left in an effort to avid the deer and the truck hit a curb, then a stone wall, according to a crash report.

The driver escaped injury, but the truck was wrecked, state police said.
