STAFFORD, CT — A man was found passed out in his car in Stafford on a busy road at a busy time of day, over the weekend state police said.

At 6:08 p.m. Saturday, troopers responded to the area near 71 West Stafford Road after receiving a report about a man slumped over the steering wheel of his car. West Stafford Road is state Route 190.

The 33-year-old from Stafford was determined to be inebriated quickly arrested and charged with driving under the influence, according to state police. His license was also under suspension and that was an additional charge, state police said.

He is due in court on Dec. 26.
