Driver Killed In Willington Crash
A driver was killed when his car hit a tree in Willington Sunday, state police said.

WILLINGTON, CT — An 80-year-old Norwich man in a 32-year-old car died in a traffic accident on Willington Sunday, state police said.
The incident took place at 12:25 p.m. on Turnpike Road in Willington, state police said.
According to a crash report, the man was driving a 1992 Chevrolet Caprice was headed west on Turnpike Road in Willington, about a tenth-0f-a-mile west of Moose Meadow Road. The car suddenly veered to the left and hit a tree on the left shoulder.

He was transported to Rockville General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
