Driver Turns 21 In December, Gets DUI After Stafford February Crash
A crash in Stafford led to a drunken driving charge, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — A driver who turned the legal drinking age in December has been charged with drunken driving in Stafford less than two months later, state police said.
The driver, a Stafford resident who turned 21 in December, crashed his car at 10:42 Friday night on Old Springfield Road, according to a state police report.
He was determined to be intoxicated at the scene and was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence and lane violation, according to a state police report. He is due in court on March 7, according to a state police report.
