Drunken Driver Tracked Down After Incident At Stafford Plaza: Police
An incident at a Stafford plaza resulted in a drunken driving arrest, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — A drunken driver was tracked down by state police after hitting a car with hers, then leaving a Stafford shopping plaza, a crash report indicates.
According to a state police crash report, at 4:16 p.m. on March 12, a 2021 Hyundai Kona Sel Plus being driven by a 49-year-old Stafford woman was heading west in the Big Y Plaza parking lot and was approaching the stop sign near McDonald's.
A Buick Lucerne being driven by a 59-year-old Stafford woman then cut in front of the Hyundai and rammed it, according to a crash report.

The driver of the Buick kept going and left the scene, but was later tracked down on West Stafford Road and pulled over, according to a crash report.
