📰 News we're reading
• Selectmen approve requests for bidding waivers (staffordfreepress.com) — Stafford's Board of Selectmen has unanimously approved waivers so the town can buy road salt directly from Eastern Salt and quickly move ahead with a major paving program. Officials say paying slightly more per ton than the state bid will improve reliability after last winter's shortage, while the paving waiver lets Galasso Materials continue resurfacing several local roads without delay.
