WILLINGTON, CT — Joshua Velasquez, 30, of Jamaica Plain, MA, was a charged with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle while under suspension ad the improper use of a marker plate, state police said. He was clocked at 90 mph on the eastbound side of Interstate-84 at 9:07 p.m., according to an arrest report.

MANSFIELD, — Matt Carpenter, 39, of Mansfield, was charged with driving under the influence at 1:31 a.m., according to an arrest report. He was found slumped over in the driver's seat of a car with the key in the ignition at McDonald's, 118 Storrs Road, according to an arrest report.

March 11

ELLINGTON, CT — Jeffrey Levigne, 45, of Ellington, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny. He allegedly went to the Valero-Fasmart at 1 Main Street, picked out 20 packs of cigarettes, and, when his card was declined, left the store without paying for them, according to an arrest report. He is also accused of rummaging through a back room at the store.
