Truck Rolls Away As Driver Retrieves Fallen Ladder In Stafford: Cops
A truck hit a truck in a driveway in Stafford over the weekend, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — A ladder fell off a truck and the truck then escaped its driver as he went to retrieve the ladder in Stafford over the weekend, state police said.
The incident took place at 5:19 p.m. Saturday, according to a state police crash report.
According to a crash report, a ladder fell off a Ford F-150 pickup truck that was headed west on West Stafford Road. The driver, a 32-year-old Stafford man, exited the truck to retrieve the ladder, but the truck began rolling away, according to a crash report.

The pickup then hit a Chevrolet Colorado pickup parked in the driveway of a home on the 100 block of West Stafford Road and then a nearby tree, according to a crash report.
No injuries were reported.
