Vehicle Rams Sandwich Shop In Stafford
A small car left a big mess after hitting a building in Stafford, state police said.
STAFFORD, CT — A car rammed into a Subway sandwich shop in Stafford, state police said.
According to a state police crash report, the accident occurred at 2:17 p.m. on Aug. 14.
The report indicates that an 18-year-old Stafford man was in a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, which was parked facing south at the Subway at 88 West Stafford Road.

The car suddenly accelerated forward and hit the front of the store, causing extensive damage, according to a crash report.
The accident, state police said, remains under investigation, and the store was listed as still being closed Tuesday on the Subway website.
