Vehicles Collide Bumper Cars Style In Willington
Two cars collided in Willington over the weekend, state police said.

WILLINGTON, CT — Two vehicles collided in a crash resembling a theme park bumper cars ride in Willington over the weekend.
The crash took place Saturday at 10:09 p.m.
According to a state police crash report a 2016 GMCX Sierra being driven by a 23-year-old Southbridge, MA, man, was heading west on Route 74. A 2022 Tesla being driven by a 51-Memphis, TN, man was heading east, according to a crash report.

The two driver's side doors of the vehicles made contact as they passed each other and the GMC caromed off the pavements and crashed, according to state police. The driver suffered what state police termed a minor injury and the car had "disabling damage," according to a crash report.
The Tesla had serious front end damage, but the driver was not hurt, according to the crash report.
