Willington Driver Gets DUI After Mansfield Burnout Incident: Police
A show-off maneuver went awry for a young driver in an expensive car in Mansfield, a state police report indicates.

MANSFIELD, CT — A driver showing off in a performance car wound up failing to perform a burnout move and then wound up against an embankment in Mansfield, state police said.
According to a state police crash report, a 2011 Mercedes-Benz C63 with a 22-year-old Willington man behind the wheel was sitting at a red light at the intersection of Route 44 and Route 195.
As the light turned green, the driver of the Mercedes "accelerated violently" while heading south on Route 195, according to a crash report.

The front wheels began spinning and the driver continued the burnout, only to over-correct, according t a crash report.
