Willington Man Identified As Victim In Coventry Fatal Crash
A Willington man was killed in a Wednesday crash in Coventry, police said.

COVENTRY, CT — The driver killed in a Wednesday crash in Coventry has been identified by police as a Willington man.
At 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, the Coventry Police Department received a report of a one-car crash near 700 Stonehouse Road, the local name for state Route 275. According to a police report, the vehicle was traveling east on Stonehouse Road when it veered off the pavement and went down an embankment before striking a tree.
Police said that the driver, Keith Albert, 57, of Willington, was discovered unresponsive and CPR was initiated. He was
transported to an area hospital by Coventry EMS and later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to a police report.

The Metro Traffic Services Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and the cause of the crash remained under investigation Friday, police said.
