2-Hour Delayed Opening Announced For Stamford Public Schools

STAMFORD, CT — Due to icy conditions, Stamford Public Schools will operate under a two-hour delayed opening on Wednesday, Jan. 17, the school district announced on its website.

A winter storm brought snow and sleet to the area on Tuesday which caused classes to be canceled.

The forecast for Wednesday will be sunny but cold, with a high near 28 and wind chill values between 5 and 15, according to the National Weather Service.
