2023 Micro Grant Applications Now Open In Stamford
This year, the program has $75,000 available to invest in Stamford's neighborhoods.

STAMFORD, CT — The Mayor’s Office is now accepting grant applications for the 2023 Community Micro-Grant Program.
The Community Micro-Grant Program (formerly the Neighborhood Grant Program) has awarded small grants for community-specific projects aimed at improving the quality of life across Stamford’s neighborhoods.
Depending on the needs of a particular area, as determined by people who live there, grant funds are available to help a range of resident groups – from informal grassroots organizations and well-established associations to community-wide efforts – by supporting the activities and projects important to applicants.

This year, the Community Micro-Grant Program has $75,000 available to invest in Stamford’s neighborhoods.
"We are so pleased to offer these grants that provide an opportunity for neighborhood groups and nonprofit organizations to improve the quality of life in their communities," said Mayor Caroline Simmons in a news release.

Last year, the city awarded grants to 19 organizations ranging from $1,150 to $10,000.

- Project Music
- Saw Mill Association
- Shippan Point Garden Club
- Stamford Public Education Foundation (SPEF)
- Springdale Neighborhood Association
- Stamford Art Association/RiseUp Arts
- Stamford Senior Center
- Sylvan Knoll
- Take Back Carwin Park
