Director, Long Ridge Camp, 17 Years. Prior to that, 20 years leading technology companies in areas such as finance, including strategic planning, public accounting audits and financing.

Married to Gayle Alswanger with two children. The family was all born and raised in Stamford.
Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?
Current member, Stamford Board of Finance. Prior elected experience on the Stamford Board of Education for seven years, with four of those as President.
Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
To continue serving Stamford by helping to address the key issues facing our community.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it.
the lack of our key infrastructure keeping up with the demands of a growing City e.g. roads, schools, etc.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The slate of Democrats running for the Board of Finance are all key contributors and have been essential to helping to maintain progress and stability from a financial standpoint.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Work to make Stamford more efficient in how it operates city government.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Drove the City government to largely adopt the CT State healthcare plan, saving the City millions of dollars per year as well as reducing the long term pension obligations. Helped to ensure proper funding to support the building and renovations of new schools in Stamford. Made sure the funding was in place to significantly accelerate road paving citywide.
