$50,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Stamford
A Stamford resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
STAMFORD, CT — An unnamed Stamford resident is $50,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, the person claimed a winning UCONN ticket that was bought at High Ridge Convenience Service on High Ridge Road.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.

The game, which costs $5 per ticket, began in January, and as of Wednesday, one grand prize of $50,000 remained unclaimed.
More than 1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.81.
