Aquarion Water Company Announces Infrastructure Improvement Project in Stamford

Aquarion Water Company today announced an infrastructure improvement project on Lakeside Drive in North Stamford will take place on the evening of August 6, 2013.

The project will connect the Stamford water system to the new Iliff pump station, located on Lakeside Drive.  These improvements will benefit the area by increasing water supply reliability during peak demand periods.

Customers should experience no change in water service during this scheduled project, and the Company will be issuing a “Code Red” automated phone call on Friday to all customers in the affected area to inform them of the project.  As a precaution to discolored water, however, Stamford customers may want to consider storing tap water in the refrigerator ahead of time for drinking and cooking.  In the unlikely event of complications associated with this scheduled work, Aquarion will issue an additional Code Red notification to provide impacted customers with updated information.
