Arrest Made In Fatal Stamford Motorcycle Crash: PD
Motorcycle rider Rene A. Sandoval-Romero, 26, died of injuries he sustained in a September 2018 crash.

STAMFORD, CT — An 18-year-old Norwalk man was arrested on a warrant last week in connection with a fatal motorcycle vs. vehicle crash in Stamford last September, according to Stamford Police Sgt. Jeffrey Booth.
Justin Foley surrendered to police on Jan. 18 and was charged with misconduct with a motor vehicle. He was released by police after posting bond on bail of $10,000 and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Feb. 1.
Foley was driving a Jeep Wrangler on Tresser Boulevard at about 7 p.m. and was turning onto Canal Street when a motorcycle driven by Stamford resident Rene A. Sandoval-Romero, 26, crashed into Foley's turning vehicle.

Sandoval-Romero was severely injured in the crash and was rushed to Stamford Hospital where he later died, according to Booth, who investigated the crash with Stamford Police Sgt. Andrew Gallagher.
