Building One Community Launches "We Are Stamford" Photo Exhibition

On October 27th, Building One Community (B1C), the Center for Immigrant Opportunity, was thrilled to hold the grand opening of its new photography exhibit that spotlights the vibrant and positive impact immigrants have made in our Stamford community. Featuring the remarkable work of award-winning photographer John Moore, this permanent exhibit showcases the stories of 22 immigrants who have chosen Stamford as their home. It is a celebration of the rich tapestry of diversity that enhances the very fabric of our city.

"With their entrepreneurial spirit, skilled labor, and innovative thinking, immigrants drive economic growth and create significant opportunities for our city. They are an integral part of our shared success."

Hundreds gathered at the Shippan Avenue location for a private grand opening of the photo exhibit. Participants, volunteers, partners, government officials, and more attended an open house to meet the photo subjects and view the exhibit.

This permanent exhibit is now open to the public. Please join B1C in recognizing and celebrating the remarkable contributions of immigrants in Stamford and beyond.
