Pride Month Celebration Weekend at FCC Stamford
June 6–7, 2026

The First Congregational Church of Stamford invites the community to celebrate Pride Month with a welcoming weekend of fellowship, family fun, and inspiring worship. A proud Open and Affirming congregation since 2007, FCC Stamford celebrates the full diversity of God’s creation and is committed to justice, inclusion, and compassion.

Family Pride Fest takes place on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. and features live music by DJ Kasey Cortez, storytelling with Rev. Marge, face painting by LF Creative, family-friendly activities, and food from the Melt Mobile food truck. FCC Stamford will be joined by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Stamford and Stamford Pride in a day dedicated to connection, celebration, and community.

On Sunday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m., Pride in the Pews returns with special guest preacher and musician Rev. Dr. Luther Young, Jr., Assistant Professor of Religion and Society at Boston University School of Theology. An artist, public theologian, and social justice advocate, Dr. Young’s work explores the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, and religion while advancing inclusion and equity. A reception will follow the service.

Location: The First Congregational Church of Stamford, 655 Stillwater Road, Stamford, CT 06902.
Admission: Free and open to all.
