Car Crashes Into Building, 2 People Injured In Stamford: FD

Two occupants in the car had to be extricated, according to the Stamford Fire Department.

STAMFORD, CT — A car crashed into a building at 1010 Washington Blvd. Thursday morning, injuring two occupants who had to be extricated, according to the Stamford Fire Department.

Several large ground floor windows on the office building sustained damage, the fire department said. The two occupants in the car were taken to Stamford Hospital for treatment.

Further details on the condition of the injured or what caused the crash were not immediately available. The Stamford Police Department is handling the investigation.
