Caroline Simmons Announces Large Fundraising Totals
Simmons, the Democratic mayoral candidate in Stamford, announced fundraising totals since she decided to run last February.

STAMFORD, CT — Democratic Mayoral Candidate Caroline Simmons on Wednesday announced her campaign raised $152,604 from 345 individual donors since winning the Democratic primary against outgoing Mayor David Martin last month.
According to a news release from her campaign, in total, Simmons raised $471,552 from over 1,060 individual donors across more than 1,500 contributions since announcing her candidacy for mayor in February.
"The strong support for my campaign is proof voters want new energy and ideas from their next Mayor," Simmons said in a news release. "In conversations my team and I are having every day at the doors and on the phones, Stamford residents are clear they want a mayor with experience, a proven track record of results and who is ready day one and unequivocally committed to our city. They believe, as I do, that together Stamford can become an inclusive and thriving city of opportunity for everyone."
