Change Made To Stamford Garbage And Recycling Schedule

STAMFORD, CT — Garbage and recycling pickup this week in Stamford will be delayed by one day, the city announced.

Residents are being asked to not place totes on the street until roadways have been fully cleared of snow. The totes should be made accessible and free of snow and ice.

Additionally, the city said condominiums need to make sure that all dumpster driveways are cleared and that dumpsters are accessible and free of snow and ice so trucks can access them safely.

Residents with backyard waiver collections must ensure their toters are accessible by making sure driveways and walkways are cleared.
