Charter Schools Topic of Stamford Legislative Breakfast
The meeting hosted by The Northeast Charter Schools Network will be held Wednesday.

The Northeast Charter Schools Network is hosting a breakfast for Stamford state legislators, Mayor David Martin, Board of Representatives members, and Board of Education members.
The breakfast will be held at Trailblazers Academy, which serves students in grades 6-8. It will include parents and staff from Stamford’s charter schools, including Trailblazers, Stamford Academy, and Stamford Charter School for Excellence, which is set to open next fall.

Guests will hear from chief education officer Craig Baker, meet some of Stamford’s dedicated charter school parents and hardworking students, and ask any questions they may have about Stamford charter schools and Connecticut charter schools in general.
There also will be a question and answer session regarding Stamford charter schools and Connecticut public charter schools in general. The breakfast begins at 8 a.m. at the Trailblazers Academy, 83 Lockwood Ave., Stamford.
