Cigar Shop In Stamford Damaged In Fire: FD

No injuries were reported in the Sunday morning fire.

STAMFORD, CT — An electrical fire at Bulls Head Cigars on High Ridge Road in Stamford on Sunday morning was extinguished by the store manager and Stamford firefighters, according to authorities. No injuries were reported in the blaze.

Moderate smoke was visible from inside the store when firefighters arrived, but the store's manager had doused most of the fire.

"The fire originated at an electrical outlet behind the front counter, and appeared to have been caused by an overloaded electrical circuit," Stamford Deputy Fire Chief Eric Lorenz wrote in a statement.
