Cops Chase Stolen Car From Stamford To Norwalk: Report
The chase occurred early Thursday morning.
STAMFORD, CT — A Bridgeport teenager who allegedly stole a car in Stamford early Thursday led police on a high-speed chase that ended in the backyard of a home in Norwalk, reports News 12 Connecticut.
With police in pursuit at about 5 a.m., the 17-year-old - whose identity was not released due to his age - hopped onto the Merritt Parkway to flee, and reached speeds of 100 miles per hour during the chase, according to authorities.
The vehicle had been stolen from the High Ridge/Long Ridge area in Stamford, where several other vehicle break-ins had been reported. The chase ended in the backyard of a home on Purdy Road in Norwalk.

Additional details were not immediately available, but police said the suspect and another teen may have been involved in another stolen car chase earlier on Thursday.
