2-Car Crash With Injuries Reported In Stamford: Police

A section of road was closed for about an hour on Friday, according to Stamford Police.

STAMFORD, CT — A two-car crash closed a portion of Long Ridge Road in Stamford on Friday afternoon, according to police.

The crash occurred between Barnes Road and Loughran Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. and invoved a Honda and a Subaru, with the Subaru ending up on its side, Stamford Police Sgt. Jeffrey Booth told Patch. Several people were taken to Stamford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The road was closed for about an hour as crews worked to clear the vehicles.

Booth said the SPD's Patrol Division is handling an investigation.
