Stamford, Greenwich Native, Former WH Press Secretary To Host New MSNBC Show

The hour-long, weekly Sunday show will debut on March 19, according to an announcement from MSNBC.

STAMFORD, CT — Connecticut native and former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki will host a new show on MSNBC called "Inside with Jen Psaki," which will debut on Sunday, March 19 at 12 p.m., according to an announcement from the news network on Tuesday.

The hour-long, weekly Sunday show will explore the most pressing political and cultural stories, and highlight key lawmakers and thought leaders in a special recurring segment, "Weekend Routine," a news release said.

The show will be available on NBC's streaming service Peacock on Mondays.

"Let's do this...looking forward to Sunday, March 19th... We have been working on some fun and different features...and can't wait to dig into all of the news..see you soon," Psaki said in a tweet Tuesday.

Psaki, 44, was born in Stamford and raised in Greenwich, where she graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996.

She served as White House Press Secretary for the first 16 months of President Joe Biden's administration before leaving the post last spring. She was replaced by Karine Jean-Pierre.

Before her work in the Biden administration, Psaki served in the Obama administration as a deputy communications director. She was also a State Department spokesperson, and previously contributed to CNN from 2017 to 2020.

She has contributed to MSNBC's live programming since joining the network in May 2022.

MSNBC said Psaki will also contribute a regular column for the network’s morning newsletter, and is developing a new original streaming and social show. Both are set to launch this spring.
