DOT Road Work In Stamford Causes Lane Closures

Getting around Stamford on Tuesday could take more patience than usual.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be performing road work downtown and on the Merritt Parkway Tuesday morning, continuing until 2 p.m.

The right lane of South State Street between Greenwich Avenue and Washington Boulevard will be closed.

On the Merritt, the northbound left lane will be closed between Exits 35 and 36. And the southbound right lane will be closed between Exits 36 and 35.
