First County Bank Appoints New Head of Commercial Banking Division
The Stamford bank has named Sara Tucker as senior vice president.

First County Bank has appointed Sara L. Tucker as senior vice president, director of business banking, in the bank’s Commercial Banking Division.
“We continually look to enhance our team by recruiting top talent and I believe we’ve again accomplished that goal with the addition of Sara. She will become a member of our senior management team, helping develop strategic and business plans for the bank,” First County Bank’s chairman and CEO Reyno Giallongo said in a statement.
In her role Tucker is responsible for directing the commercial and small business functions of First County Bank. “I am thrilled to bring my expertise to First County Bank, as part of its growth strategy. The Bank has a solid footing in Fairfield County and our commercial strategy is to build on that long-standing history and be a trusted advisor to our customers and to the community,” Tucker said in a statement.

Prior to joining First County Bank, Tucker was first vice president, market executive and business banking team leader for First Niagara’s Lower Hudson Valley/Tri-State market. Prior to First Niagara’s acquisition of HSBC, Tucker spent six years with HSBC, the last two years were managing a team of 17 business bankers, primarily focused on eastern New York. She began her banking career in 1985 with Citibank.
A resident of Piermont, NY, Tucker is involved with several nonprofit and community development organizations in Rockland and Westchester counties.
