Former Stamford High Principal Claims Former Superintendent Made Threatening Call
The allegation comes as part of a lawsuit as Donna Valentine appeals to get her job back following a sexual abuse case at the school.

STAMFORD, CT—Ousted Stamford High Principal Donna Valentine claims that former Superintendent Winifred Hamilton made a threatening phone call to her in the wake of the sexual abuse case between a student and teacher.
Valentine claims in a lawsuit against the school system that Hamilton threatened to fire her if her attorney didn't retract a newspaper report, according to the Stamford Advocate. Valentine told a reporter that she informed Hamilton twice about possible sexual contact between a teacher and student before it was reported to police.
Hamilton threatened to ruin Valentine's name and possibly take a page out in the Stamford Advocate that claimed she was a liar, according to the Advocate.

Valentine is fighting to get her job back after being fired. She was criminally charged with failure to report the sexual incident and charges were dismissed after she participated in a court diversionary program.
