Former WWE Star Ashley Massaro Dies At 39
Massaro was found unconscious in her Long Island home Thursday. Stamford-based WWE said it is "saddened to learn of the tragic death."

SMITHTOWN, NY – Former WWE star Ashley Massaro died after being found unconscious in her Long Island home Thursday morning.
Suffolk Police say they respond to Massaro's Smithtown home around 5:20 a.m. Massaro, 39, was transported to a local hospital where she pronounced dead.
"The death is being considered non-criminal and we have no other details," a police spokesman told Patch.

Massaro, who grew up in Babylon, won WWE's Diva Search in 2005. She appeared on the cover of Playboy in 2007.
"We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro," the Stamford-based WWE said in a statement on its website. "She performed in WWE from 2005-2008 and was beloved by her fellow Superstars and fans around the world."

Massaro, who had an 18-year-old daughter, was also a contestant on "Survivor: China" in 2007.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, also a Smithtown resident, tweeted his condolences Thursday night.
"She lived in the same town as me...I loved seeing her around," Foley wrote. "She was always so nice...and now she's gone."
