Free Tax Preparation Service To Be Offered In Stamford
Tax-Aide volunteers certified by the IRS and under the sponsorship of the AARP Foundation will be at three locations beginning Feb. 1.
STAMFORD, CT — Free tax preparation services will be offered in Stamford beginning Feb. 1 and going through April 15.
Tax-Aide volunteers certified by the IRS and under the sponsorship of the AARP Foundation will be at the following locations:
- Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd., fourth floor, Monday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No appointment needed.
- Stamford Harry Bennett Library, 115 Vine Road, Monday and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No appointment needed.
- Stamford Weed Memorial Library, 1143 Hope St., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No appointment needed.
There are no age, income or residency restrictions. Attendees should bring a social security card or individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN) proof for each household member; a government-issued photo ID; and last year's federal and state returns.
