A Furious Feline Attacks Its Owner Who Calls Police

The man called Stamford Police to help after 3-hour standoff during which the cat repeatedly attacked him.

Talk about a cat fight! Not only was the fur flying, so were the claws.

It wasn’t a good night for a Stamford man who resorted to calling city police to intervene when his pet cat repeatedly attacked him and wouldn’t let him enter his Shippan Avenue residence over a three-hour period early Wednesday, according to WCBS 880.

The 7 ½ -pound feline was ferocious enough that it scratched and bit the man every time he tried to enter his home. So after three hours, the man called 911 asking for help.

Police advised the man that he and the cat stay away from one another. Apparently, the resident was heeded the advice and was able to spend the rest of the night in the apartment, according to the report.
