My "Around the House" Tip of the Day for Wednesday February 7, 2024:
Today was a very successful day around my house... Peter & I are working on the enclosure over my wife's raised bed garden. We have removed the original deer fencing that was pretty beat up, and started replacing it with a smaller grid coated steel fencing. When we are done there will be a tough perimeter fence with a roof made of the same material. Making the only things that can enter the garden area are sun, rain and my wife (yes I made a gate). I'll include a photo tomorrow. We got two sides on today, and if the weather holds out we will get a bunch done tomorrow. The roof structure is made of pipes that have rather unique fasteners, and should be strong enough to hold up in any weather. More importantly the rabbits, squirrels and birds should not be able to get in.
Have a great day from "Around the House /w Steve Gladstone", and Stonehollow Home Inspections & Environmental Testing.
