Grand Marshal Chosen For Stamford's St. Patrick's Day Parade

This year's Stamford St. Patrick's Day Parade will take place on March 5 at 2 p.m.

STAMFORD, CT — The Irish American Cultural Society of Stamford (IACSOS) on Tuesday announced that Roger J. Fox will be the grand marshal of the 2022 St. Patrick's Day parade, which is scheduled to take place on March 5 at 2 p.m.

This will be Stamford's first St. Patrick's Day parade since 2019. The event was canceled the past two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's parade will have a new route; it will step off from the corner of Washington Boulevard and Main Street and continues onto Lower Summer Street, Broad Street and Bedford Street where it ends at Latham Park.

"We are delighted to have Roger as our grand marshal this year. I have known Roger and his family for many years and a finer man is hard to come by. He is a man of strength, integrity, and faith," said Parade Chairman Michael Feighan in a news release Tuesday.
