The Salvation Army Stamford Community Center commits itself to continue to bring Hope in the Year 2014. But what is hope today? What is hope for a child that is hungry for food? What is hope for a family that struggles to just pay for shelter? What is hope for a mother that can't keep a clean diaper on her baby? What is hope for a community that is anxious to let their children out of their homes? What is hope for a world that seems to be in despair, chaos, and confusion?
Merriam-Webster defines hope as : to want something to happen or be true and think that it could happen or be true. The Salvation Army commits itself to always working to help the adults, teens, and children of Stamford to offer a hope for today and for tomorrow.
