"We’re proud to welcome Hubbard Day to the Harbor Point community and help them expand their mission of strengthening special education learning," said Carl R. Kuehner III, chairman of BLT, in a news release. "Their added presence to the community highlights the continued interest in the Harbor Point’s lifestyle and demonstrates the wide-ranging value tenants look for in our Live. Work. Play ecosystem."

Over the last decade, BLT has had a strong presence in the area, building 4,000 apartments and welcoming nearly 30 retailers and restaurants to the Harbor Point section of Stamford. The company said it has also helped create over two miles of public waterfront access and more than 20 acres of new public parks.

"We are excited to welcome the Hubbard Day School to the City of Stamford. They will provide a much-needed resource to our community as well as educational opportunities that will benefit many students in the area," said Ted Ferrarone in a news release. Ferrarone is the co-president of BLT. "I’m grateful for the partnership between BLT and Hubbard Day School and I look forward to supporting their mission of expanding special education learning in Stamford."
