Illegal Fireworks Caused Stamford Fire: FD
The fireworks resembled Roman candles, fire officials said.
STAMFORD, CT — A city home was damaged after illegal fireworks that resembled Roman candles ignited, according to Fire Department Officials.
Firefighters responded to an Evergreen Court fire Wednesday night and extinguished the fire, according to the Stamford Advocate. There were no injuries.
Fireworks that fire projectiles are illegal in Connecticut. Sparklers and fountains are legal as long as they are used by someone 16-years-old or older.
