Initial 2023 Paving List Announced: City Of Stamford
Check out which roads will be paved first in Stamford, beginning in April.
STAMFORD, CT — As the 2023 paving season quickly approaches, the city of Stamford recently announced the first 36 roads that will be paved beginning in April.
As part of Mayor Caroline Simmons' "Pave Stamford" initiative, the city has a goal of paving 200 roads in four years. In 2022, over 70 roads were paved, doubling the amount from the previous year, the city says on its website.
The initial list for 2023 was compiled based on remaining roads from previous assessments and utility coordination projects, the city said. Additional roads are anticipated to be added for the 2023 season following the completion of the city-wide road conditions report.
