Jeb Bush Sets Fundraising Sights on Greenwich
Attendees will have to pay at least $1,000 for the reception scheduled for next week in Greenwich, according to a report.

Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush reportedly will return to the Bush family hometown next week for a fund-raiser to beef up his campaign war chest.
Bush apparently is hoping to raise at least $300,000 at a fundraising reception to be held Tuesday, June 23 at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.
The host committee reportedly includes Bush’s aunt and uncle, Jody and Jon Bush, who live part-time in New Haven. Bush’s father, former President George H.W. Bush grew up in Greenwich where his father Prescott, a former U.S. Senator, settled with his family.

Tickets start at $1,000 and goes up to $2,700, the maximum individual contribution allowed under federal law for a primary. For a photo op with Bush, individual supporters need to raise at least $10,000, with co-hosts raising a minimum of $27,000, according to the Hearst Connecticut Media report that can be found here.
Bush’s visit is less than three weeks after another Florida Republican, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio was the keynote speaker at the annual Prescott Bush Award Dinner in Stamford on June 4, and Democratic presidential hopeful, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton raised more than $200,000 at a June 5 fund-raiser in Greenwich.
