July 4th 2022: Find Fireworks Near Stamford

STAMFORD, CT — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Stamford:

July 4 Festivities

What: Fourth annual reading of the Declaration of Independence

Where: Stamford History Center, 1508 High Ridge Road

When: Monday, July 4, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

What: American Flag Raising

Where: Greenwich Town Hall

When: July 4, 9 a.m.

What: Fireworks display in Darien.

When: Friday, July 15, 9 p.m. Rain date is July 16.

Where: Darien High School

What: Darien VFW Post 6933 Push-n-Pull Parade.

When: Monday, July 4. Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. sharp.

Where: Darien High School.

What: Wilton Live DJ and Fireworks Show

Where: Wilton High School at 395 Danbury Road

When: Live DJ music begins at 5 p.m. on July 4, followed by fireworks at sundown, approximately 9 p.m.

What: Fairfield County Bank is sponsoring fireworks.

Where: Ridgefield High School, 700 North Salem Road. Parking passes are $20 per car, and available at Town Hall, Fairfield County Bank and online here.

When: July 9. Gates open at 6 p.m.
