Junior League Of Stamford-Norwalk To Celebrate 100 Years

STAMFORD, CT — This year, the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk will celebrate its centennial year and its legacy of service in Fairfield County.
A Centennial Gala will take place on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Darien Community Association Meadowlands.

All are welcome to celebrate at this festive, formal evening, featuring a cocktail reception, seated dinner, dancing and DJ music, high-end auction and a paddle raise.
"This is a very exciting and meaningful time for the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk," said JLSN President Leslie Johnson in a news release. "We have so much to celebrate as we look back on a century of service and invest in a bright future."

All proceeds will support the mission of the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk.
The League has a century-long record of addressing community needs with innovative programs and projects throughout Southwestern Fairfield County, including the establishment of the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum, The Maritime Aquarium, Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Pacific House, The Volunteer Center of Southwestern Fairfield County, The Women’s Crisis Center and the Women's Center at Norwalk Community College.
JLSN has impacted close to 100 community agencies and trained generations of women as community leaders.
