Springdale Little League will hold registration for its Spring 2014 season for children new to the league from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, at the Springdale Fire House, 987 Hope St. across from the State Cinema.
Tryouts are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 1, at Springdale School.
To be eligible for Springdale Little League, a child must turn age 4 to 12 before May 1, 2014, and either live in the Springdale Little League district or, attend a school within that area (Springdale or Toquam elementary schools or Dolan Middle School).

A parent or guardian must provide the child’s birth certificate and three forms of proof of residency (parent/guardian driver’s license, recent utility bill, financial records, etc.) or proof of attending a league-area school (report card from current school year) at time of registration.
Registration fee will cost: $75 for 4- and 5-year-olds, $100 for all others. Children selected to play in the Majors will be charged an additional $50 later.
