Mad Science Summer Camps

Sign up your child for a week of education wrapped in entertainment with Mad Science!

Stamford Recreation partners with Mad Science of Fairfield County to offer two summer science camps. To register, please visit our website or stop by our office on the first floor of Government Center, located at 888 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT.

MAD Science Brixology Camp Ages 7 - 12
Build a different LEGOTM project, inspired by an engineering theme, each day! Explore engineering fields including mechanical, structural, aerospace, nautical, and bioengineering. Use critical thinking, cooperation, and creative problem-solving to test and improve creations. Experience extended learning with take home toys to reinforce each concept!

When: July 9 - July 13
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Fee: $240.00 per child for the week

“Fizz”- ical Phenomena & Che - Mystery Camp With Mad Science ( Ages 6 - 11)
Take a walk on the wild side in this crazy week of sleuth science. Have a ton of fun as we whip up potions and experiment with all kinds of chemical reactions, including growing our own crystals, making sidewalk chalk, and learning the science of chromatography! Mix it up as we experiment with molecular madness, radical reactions and “fizz”-ical and chemical reactions. Discover what those crazy chemists are really up to in their laboratories! Then use everything you’ve learned to solve the Mad Science Mystery; even Sherlock couldn’t figure this one out!
