Stamford Man Wants Child Porn, Bomb Making Conviction Overturned

The man took his case to the state Supreme Court and argues that officials didn't have the right search warrant.

STAMFORD, CT- A Stamford man took his case to the state Supreme Court Tuesday in hopes that his conviction for possession of child porn and bomb making would be overturned.

Donald Saturno, 50, has been in jail since January 2013 after housing officials, fire marshals and police searched his home to determine if he had an illegal apartment, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Saturno argues that the officials didn't have the proper search warrant that would've allowed them to use a pry bar to open a basement door. Child porn and bomb making items were found in the basement.

He made no contest pleas which allowed him to file an appeal. He was sentenced to five years in prison.
