Man Charged After Hit-And-Run Crash At Stamford McDonald's
The man is also facing weapons charges after police said they found a gun inside his BMW sedan.
STAMFORD, CT — A man is facing charges in connection with a hit-and-run crash at a Stamford McDonald's restaurant, authorities said.
According to Stamford police, officers were called to the business at 1103 E. Main St. to investigate a report of an accident involving a car and a scooter. Witnesses reported the car, a BMW sedan, fled the scene following the crash.
Using surveillance camera footage, police were able to track the driver to a parking lot at 821 E. Main St., where they located the BMW with damage consistent with the reported accident. Officers found the suspect — identified as 21-year-old Jarrell Grant — in the driver’s seat.

During a search of the vehicle, police said officers found a semi-automatic handgun and ammunition on the floor. According to police, Grant was arrested on motor vehicle charges and for illegal possession of a firearm.
