Man Faces Charge of Interfering with Stamford Police

The incident occurred on Bedford Street where police stopped a driver on a motor vehicle violation.

Stamford Police arrested a man who reportedly disobeyed repeated orders from police to stay away from officers who made a traffic stop on Bedford Street early Wednesday.

Kenneth T. Chevalier, 24, of Woodland Place, White Plains, NY, was charged with interfering with an officer, according to The Daily Voice. He reportedly told police he wanted to check on his boss who was a passenger in the car whose driver was stopped by police for making an unsafe lane change. Chevalier was released after posting $1,000 bond.
