STAMFORD, CT — Police said a man was fatally stabbed Wednesday night at a Frederick Street residence and are currently working to find the person responsible. According to Captain Richard Conklin, police received a call just before 10 p.m. reporting a man had ran and collapsed at the corner of Cove Road and Frederick Street and was bleeding very heavily.
Police and EMS responded to the area and the man was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Conklin said.
Investigative and forensic units were called to the scene and followed "a very heavy blood trail" from the corner to a Frederick Street residence where the stabbing took place, Conklin said.
